We know Jimbo, and specifically his offense, very well.
His offense WILL NOT win another title, period. Maybe he eventually changes it and relinquishes control, and if so the ceiling could certainly raise as that’s really the only thing holding him back from being a consistent championship coach in today’s game, but there’s no doubt in my mind that he won’t be winning another title at A&M or anywhere with his current complicated/antiquated/clunky offense.
His excellent recruiting and very good program management and DC/asst hires covers for the flaws with his offensive system. Which is a good thing and the silver lining. Everything else about the way he builds a program is very good.

Don’t get why posters are talking themselves into this 90’s offensive guru.
I’ve watched them time and time again talk themselves into countless amounts of lackluster hirings.
