I’ve never understood this argument. Is Houston dehumanizing astronauts? Are the Yankees dehumanizing northerners? Is Kansas City dehumanizing royalty?

There are a lot of mascots referencing different human groups, so I don’t understand why the only groups perceived as being dehumanized are those associated with Native Americans. Someone connect the gaps for me here:

It's like what Chappelle said in his latest stand up

Every bleeding heart is out there trying to put some bubble of permanent protection around select classes of people, for no reason other than the person screaming, "BECAUSE THEY NEED IT" when in reality said person doesn't do jack fricking shite to actually help the real issues those groups face.

Want to help Native Americans in this country? Maybe address the root causes behind the high alcoholism and drug use rates on reservations. Maybe address the cycle of poverty they face.

But no, a harmless chant used by fans in an honorific way is the real evil in this country.
