Once again, you display your absolute ignorance but that's to be expected from a republican who voted for John Bel Edwards.

The Louisiana GOP is one of the weakest state party organizations in the country and it's been that way for a long time.

The LA GOP works for the politicians, not the other way around like you think it is in reality. The chairman can't even get the House Speaker, Clay Schexnadyer to do some very basic things like whipping votes for a veto override or cajole a specific legislator to vote for conservative legislation he campaigned on. They have no power to speak of.

If the LA GOP had the power you think they do, JBE would be a nobody in Amite chasing ambulances and 18 wheelers and David Vitter would be finishing up his 2nd term and getting into the final phase of his reform agenda.
