I know none of the alleged victims and I don’t know anyone who does. So, in my world there is no crime problem. Maybe someone else has a problem but that’s not my culture and I don’t care.
It becomes my problem when I’m at target on a weekday grabbing a few items during lunch and two people get shot outside at the ihop next door. Especially when I get stuck in the parking lot for 40 minutes because police have to lock down the area and get crime tape up.
The shite isn’t confined to the bad parts of town anymore

Hell, people have been antsy in this town for years because they suspect something will happen.
We had a massive stampede a few years back when an Instagram thot had a meet and greet at Mall Of LA because someone knocked over a chair in the food court and everyone assumed it was a gunshot.
People perceived the city as unsafe and associated it with a certain element. That element is proving them correct, as the vast majority of those murders are occurring in NBR and have one group as both the killer and victim.

Or when some innocent motorist catches a stray from a hail of bullets driving down Airline at 9am. It's happening all over S BR too now.
