Had a horrible time in the Grove. Drunk Blazers shoved a picture of a Tiger with his throat cut in my face. Then a 50 ish year old man started yellin at my 13 year old son "This ain't Mardi Gras you idiot." This for wearing purple and gold beads, a 3 tiger neck chain, and a Tiger jersey. I was a drug sales rep at the time and my boss and his son was with us. He took me by the arm and got me out of there and I ain't never going back.

Tailgated in grove last two trips with ole miss buddies and 6-7 of my LSU buddies
Always had blast, after game was always good time too.
I’m not a pussy though so when one of these self righteous pricks from ole miss starts their shite I give it right back to them.
They cower down every fricking time

I’ve always enjoyed Oxford except there is nowhere to stay and typically had to stay 30-50 miles away. We stayed at rent houses in Oxford the last two trips and that worked well. The Grove is way overhyped and sort of fake like Disney World. The women are beautiful for the most part and on par with Georgia and LSU. It’s probably my favorite SEC West away game. The bars and restaurants are good and many of the restaurants are owned by a LA guy whose name escapes me. Almost always see Archie in town on Friday nights.

They have some assholes but so do we. It’s mostly drunk college kids. The adults are ok. They don’t like us much but they know we are usually going to beat them and beat them badly. They typically disappear after the game. Just my experiences.
