It’s pretty crazy right now, for sure. Between projects that were deferred last year, hurricane repair stuff, other projects that were delayed after Ida, and the upcoming end of fiscal 2021.. it’s a complete and total clusterfrick.

There’s so much going on at a lot of these sites that contractors can’t staff jobs.. so you have a lot of green (or just stupid) hands. You also have a huge push from both owners and contractor management to get shite done.. owners so they can finish their budgets out and contractors so they can get to the next job. Add material delays, constantly starting/stopping projects with new personnel, and reduced office staff and supervision. It’s a recipe for disaster.
