No active Coach is going to publicly act interested in the LSU job right now.

Right now every single Coach that is publicly asked about taking the LSU job or being interested in it will deny it until his teeth are blue.
“So Coach Bob are you interested in the LSU job? Your name is being floated around as a possibility for the position.”
Coach Bob- “Hell yeah I want that damn job. Screw the fact that here at ABC State we’re in the middle of the season and are in the hunt for a Conference Championship. That ain’t important. They can figure the rest of it out without me. I’ll pack my stuff and be in Baton Rouge tonight!”

Yes he did. A coach declaring his love for the current employer is NOT a denial of interest. It’s amazing how many people seem to not know that

Brian Kelly of Notre Dame is linking himself to the LSU job for a raise or an extension. So you are going to get some of that.
