The no go zones get larger every year. The old "stay south of Florida Blvd" advice is no longer relevant.

BR has had issues for years but Katrina caused a lot of them to metastasize because people were no longer pigeonholed to certain areas.
Instead of the problems being limited to Gardere and NBR, it spread wherever there were available apartments.
