Texas passes controversial transgender student athlete bill

The Texas House voted 76-54 to pass the controversial H.B. 25 on Thursday.
“Biological males, in addition to having much higher testosterone levels, have many other physiological advantages that girls just cannot overcome,” Rep. Valoree Swanson (R-Spring), one of the bill’s authors, told KHOU.
Texas H.B. 25 bans transgender students from participating on public school sports teams of their gender identity, instead requiring that all students play on teams based on the gender assigned on their birth certificate.
“Texas lawmakers voted today to deliberately discriminate against transgender children,” Adri Perez, policy and advocacy strategist at the ACLU of Texas, said in a press release. “Excluding transgender students from participating in sports with their peers violates the Constitution and puts already vulnerable youth at serious risk of mental and emotional harm.”
“There is no evidence that transgender kids pose any threat,” Perez said, adding, “Trans kids and their families deserve our love and support — they’ve been fighting this legislation for months. Texans will hold lawmakers accountable for their cruelty.”
The bill is headed to the Texas Senate, where it is expected to pass. LINK

Sick that such a law has to be written. Perverse media has to label common sense as controversial.

Why is there a separation between men’s and women’s sports? Obvious Answer: there is a significant difference in physical features.
But now, we are told gender is not a physical manifestation. Gender is now a subjective perception. If gender is no longer tied to physical traits, the basis for separating men’s/women’s sports no longer exists.
But of course, in reality, the vast majority of us, including SJW’s, know gender is not a subjective belief, it is in fact a natural physical manifestation, and therefore there is in fact a real justification for separation of sports.
But instead of taking a logically consistent approach in either enforcing the separation or totally doing away with the separation, our “solution” is to take a contradictory position out of fear of lawsuits and the woke mob. Out of one side of our mouth we are saying there are physical differences between the genders and therefore there needs to be separation, and out of the other side we are saying gender is a subjective perception and therefore people born “male” can join women’s leagues if they perceive themselves to be “female.”
People need to be consistent with this. Should there be separation between men’s and women’s sports or not? If you believe in the former, then logic dictates you must support this bill.

I think it was John McEnroe who said “here’s a solution, why don’t we just let the men and the women play together and not separate it.”

First off, why is this controversial.
Secondly, where are the feminist on this?

Didn't we just have the story in Virginia where the tranny kid raped two girls and they swept it under the rug?

There is nothing "controversial" about that and it is time to tell those weirdos to frick off. Gender is a fact, men on average are bigger, faster, and stronger than women ,and boys should never be in girls sports especially in contact sports.

All of this transgender shite is insane. These people are mentally ill. Instead of treating them for their mental illness we just say, "Oh, just go with it" and encourage them. We don't do that with any other mental illness.
Suicide rates are not better for these people after they "transition." They are still alarmingly high. Treat the fricking mental illness. Stop giving into it.

It is sickening that we even have to make laws as such.
Like a science fiction movie, the world we live in today.

There should be no controversy here. #FollowTheScience

Let's just get rid of all separate teams and facilities. All play on the same team, all use the same facilities.
Letting a biological male run amok on a girl's team and in their lockerroom is the real abuse.
