Our 1.5 year old 70 Pound yellow lab ate a sock for the first time at 6 months old. We contemplated going to the emergency vet instantly (didn’t go). It will either be pooped out or thrown up 1-2 days later. We have lost count of how many pieces of clothing or foreign objects he has swallowed now.

Same thing happened to my 25 lb puppy. He ate a sock which my wife noticed immediately. We were worried about a blockage due to his size… So we quickly put a tsp of hydrogen peroxide in his water & got him to drink it to induce vomiting. He spit it up within a minute… along with everything else he had eaten for the past few days.
