I'm in the same boat. Is there a cocktail I can put down to eliminate all the various weed types in my yard? Would generic Barricade and Weed Free Zone work? Or Celcius and WFZ or Prodiamine 65 WDG? My yard probably has every weed possible.

All? let’s say “Most”. Some weeds are perennial, e.g., Virginia Button Weed, can’t eliminate them but can can certainly suppress and keep them in check.

Pre-Emergent - Prodiamine apply ASAP to help control annual winter weeds whose seeds germinate at soil temperatures of 70 F which is occurring now, at least in Baton Rouge. Repeat application in early-mid-Feb, depending on your location, before soils temperatures increase above 55 F - temperature at which crabgrass seeds germinate.

Post-Emergent - Weed Free Zone is a good herbicide to kill numerous broadweed weeds, safe to use when temperature are less than 85 F. Combine with Atrazine for added affect if you don’t have a Bermudagrass lawn. 1 oz WFZ + 8.6 oz Atrazine + 2 tsp of surfactant applied in 1 or 2 gal of water sprayed over 1000 sq ft. Celsius is an excellent herbicide you should have and use without a high temperature restriction. Safe to use in the heat of summer when WFZ is not.

Post-Emergent weed control is a 12 month a year activity - spray them when you see them, the smaller/younger they are the easier they are to control. Not sure what to use - post on the board and ask - lots of knowledgeable posters here that can help.

Thanks CrawDude and Ronk. Soooo.......can I apply Prodiamine, Weed Free Zone and Atrazine (+ surfactant) mixed together or do they need to applied separately? I have St. Augustine and I'm in north Lafayette.

Forecast calls for mid to upper 80s through next Wednesday.
