We bought this 4000 bed from
Mattress direct feb 2021, we were told we have a year to return or exchange. We have the 1 year comfort exchange w a stocking fee, on the paperwork, but they’re telling us we have to pay 50 percent of the mattress because it was February yet the website states you have 1 year w a restocking fee. Anyone deal w this issue? please let me know how you handed it, esp since we are trying to exchange this horrible sterns and foster bed that’s actually more expensive.

If you have the paperwork that clearly says one year from DoP, threaten to lawyer up.

Ah never mind, I see you are getting prorated.

Read what you sign, dumbass.

Mattress companies are terrible. Warranties have so many clauses they never have to honor anything.

In other words, the warranty means exactly shite. The customer loses their arse off in just about every return scenario.

One question, that must be some busy mattress for it to go out in just 8 months. What were you doing in your bedroom, shooting porn?

Mattress stores are the equivalent of old used car dealerships.

We didn’t sign on it, they don’t even give you that paperwork, however online is where you find that info, unfortunately

He told us it was 150-200 restocking fee, no catch. Yet the website stats otherwise

It didn’t go out, it’s nothing like the one in the store, it won’t break in, we kept thinking after 8 months that maybe it would. But nope, hard as nails, we even put a topper on it. Still miserable to sleep on

It can’t be as bad as a futon I purchased while I wait for repairs to my house from Target.

The thing was a death trap waiting to happen.

One good roll I was on the floor.

I boxed it up and returned it to Target.

Luckily, I found a nice air mattress for the time being. It is a twin size, but I am single so no need for anything larger.

The air mattress I bought has an inflatable headboard and built in AC powered air pump.

No the tag is still attached and we bought the mattress protector from them, otherwise they won’t let you exchange if you purchase a generic mattress protector from someone outside them

Wish I could refer mattress direct but I can’t, now. I think they’re all bad these days, wishing we would’ve bought a sleep number or searched longer.
