As long as LSU has Miles on the sideline, they're going places. He said, "That cat is fearless."

That wasn't what he was saying last year or the year before. I am looking for the link.

After the Florida game, Rome basically got on board with the rest of the LSU people, in effect, calling him Lesticles.

Glad he said something nice about Miles. But.....after Steven A. Smith, he is the biggest tool in sports. Gets on my nerves to no end.

I'll agree with you on SMith, but Rome is a different guy. Sure, he's arrogant and a SoCal honk admittedly, but he tells it like it is. That's something that most sportscasters won't do, or if they do, it's simply pot stirring, i.e., Finebaum. Rome doesn't make ridiculous statements for effect. He says it because that's how he sees it.

I agree with what you said, he does tell it like he sees it. But, I guess imho, the arrogance just gets a little thick for my taste. Plus, like SAS, he is has somewhat of an 'in yo face' style that I detest. Although I think they are often goobers, I like the 'style' of Corso, Herbie, etc. on ESPN much better.

Yeah, remember that. And "Chrissie" was gonna kick his butt. He wasn't talking crap there for a little while.

He says, "Hatch's IQ probably dropped to 130 after that hit." Also said, paraphrasing, that the sign of a great coach is the adjustments made from the first half to the second half and Les looks to be one of the best at that.
