You are talking to golfers in a market who yearn for LSU to be in good shape. Who argue over who is more primo LSU or Webb. BR golfers are not driving to the Bluffs even if it is better than Beaver and it has been better than Beaver many times over the years and still lost tons of money.

The Bluffs can only make it, if some rich guy like the owner of Squire Creek, makes it their pet project.

That’s not happening there. It’s already been tried by multiple rich guys (Tanner, Dodson, etc). People didn’t ‘get rich’ by making bad investments, and The Bluffs is a bad investment.
I think it’s only saving grace woukd be as a corporate retreat/conference center ran by the parish or a stay/play resort type area. Only way either of those is viable though is to add another amenity to make it more attractive.

Idk. I spent a few years when I first started playing golf refusing to drive to BC bc if I'm driving that far for golf, I'd just drive to The Bluffs.
