(My handyman hates ladders that tall and I'd never have that tall a room because of the problems with heating and ac ).



I've seen the room that it's in. Just a regular ol' bedroom, probably like a 7 foot high ceiling or less.

OK, maybe this was one of life's simplest pleasures, to be able to control the ceiling fan without getting out of bed.

Please don't say the wall switch was by the door into the bedroom?
