I moved to BTR in 1982 and have been following LSU since then. I went to every home game and the Bama game in BDS in 2019 and will cherish every minute of attendance at those games. Watching the emergence of a super star Heisman winner was unbelievable.
As people have said many times you could tell he was the smartest guy in the room, player and coach alike. I remember seeing an interview with him late in the season or playoffs and he said on Tuesdays he presented his offensive gameplan to the coaches... How many college QBs do that??
