I just got back from a horse show there and had a fabulous lunch at The Chimneys. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside on the front porch overlooking the water.

Since you said Gulfport "area", I will suggest Long Beach Market & Deli. The chef is Le Cordon Bleu trained. There is no view of the water here but the food is delicious. I love the Banh Mi summer roll.

If you're into craft beer they have a large selection.

The White Pillars is the best restaurant in the state and probably one of the best in the South.

Patio 44, nicer restaurant though so it's above moderatley priced. Filets are delicious, and impressive bar with a ton of bourbons to choose from!

Highly recommend

I’m originally from LB and we usually pick up something from there every time I go back to visit my parents. I still call it “Pineville Mart” from back in the day before DV took over. I have never had anything from there that I didn’t like. Just be warned if you call in your order and his dad is taking the calls you better be there at what time he tells you! If he tells you 20 minutes he’ll call you back at 21 minutes and ask where you are ??

ETA: I just realized this is an old thread ??
