LSU's last 5 games before the national championship they averaged 37.2 points per game. The only games they were held below 35 points that season were Miss St (19) and Alabama (9 and 0). Every other game was 35+.

But defensively, OSU gave up 24 or more in all but 3 games that season. LSU gave up 24 or more once the entire season, the 1st game of their season.

Yeah, this narrative that '11 LSU was completely offensively inept is garbage. They put lots of points on the board all season except for a few games.
