against MSU knowing how they were going to attack us. Now, if they change again against Allbarn based on how they will attack us, I will be very pleased. My biggest gripe about both our offense and defense under O, is that it is just too stagnant, repetitive, without variation....therefore easy to beat.
My hope is that we have 3 or 4 downlinemen and 3-4 lb's standing in the gaps ON THE LOS ON EVERY PLAY. Chances are good that Allbarn is going to start TJ and he has the least experience deciphering what the d is doing....so make it challenging for him...do things that he hasn't seen before from LSU or while at LSU. Challenge him to make quick decisions pre and post snap, and I guarantee you he will make mega mistakes, fumbling and throwing pics...which will be the difference in the game. Stack the los scrimmage and either blitz or drop....but not the same thing on every play. Just please don't line up the same exact way on every single play regardless of down and distance.
I couldn't believe my eyes last week when on two occasions MSU had a 3rd and 1ft and 3rd and 2 yds, and LSU lined up with 3 down d linemen and 4 Lb's 5 yds off the los. LSU just said go ahead and make the first down...we don't care. That is bizarre football imo. I hope that stupidity changes.

As if O has had any real effect on the offense or the defense

Y’all said he messed with Canada’s offense and caused it not to work. Also some people have insinuated the defensive problems are his fault and not the coordinators

As a matter of interest why did O watch the State game last year and make no in game changes?

We played scared against a mediocre offense and tired out our players so much that they were an onside kick away from beating us or at least taking us to OT.

What in the hell are you even arguing? I don't think you know anymore.

With the exception of Aranda (who he didn't hire) and Joe Brady the offense and defense has been either down right terrible, or very underperforming, correct? I think that's pretty much accepted by almost everybody.

So, if Orgeron is inserting himself into the offense and/or defense, he clearly is doing a terrible job of it.

If he is not inserting himself into either, then he clearly isn't capable of hiring coordinators who can get the job done.

How are you attempting to shift the blame away from Orgeron in either case?

We quite literally made a big change and didn't run man at all. We were constantly getting beat over the top last year and never adjusted. This year we made them play patient and dared them to take a shot. It worked up until the end when we tired everyone out.

The game plan was perfect defensively. It is literally the nationally known blueprint for containing Leach's offense, and it worked brilliantly for three quarters, and was damn good overall. And realize, playing Leach is the equivalent of playing a triple option team. You have to utilize a defense you haven't done all season and likely will not utilize again.

We had the ball three times in the first half with a chance to make it a double digit lead and failed to do so. You want to bitch, bitch about the fact it should've been a 49-25 game. Bitch about the fact that with no running game offensively, they ran 88 plays to our 55.

New Coordinator (Pelini sucks)
1st game running a 4-3
Stingley out the night before being hospitalized
J Ward being forced into action 2 weeks after meniscus surgery
So many 1st time starters
O forgot how to coach still basking in the limelight of the 2019 team

??????????

12-18 on 3rd for State. 88 plays. Players tongues dragging on the ground. Hey but we only got embarrassed on the back end once, so it was a success. And lol @ that's the only way to beat a Leach offense. You pussies are scared of a mediocre Mike Leach offense that resulted in 4 wins last year and scored over 30 points twice.

they had 3 pts at half and 10 pts in middle of 4th qtr

If our offense could get any kind of running game to help the defense in 4th qtr we probably win 35-10

Have you not watched MSU play all year? They score in the 4th quarter. Especially on a defense that's been on the field all game.

You think Ed's game plan was to play bend don't break and then control the clock on offense without a running game? Good grief.

I guess his game plan was to get a big lead going into the 4th qtr with some hope his offense would possess the ball more and run clock...good grief! but the defense did force them to use clock by playing zone.

They did switch in the 4th to 4 down linemen and it was getting eaten alive.
