Hannity and tucker tend to sell whatever the narrative is. They have no issue telling a lie or bending the truth to make their point look more valid.

Gutfield i don't always agree with but I don't feel like he's trying to manipulate me.

He didn't mention it because he thinks it's BS. It's the same reason why Glenn Beck, Howie Carr, Buck & Clay, Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and a host of others haven't mentioned it.
