Everyone assumes their community's problems are the entire country's problems. The rhetoric that comes out of New York federal politicians reflects that, and people in California truly believe that, not only do California's problems exist everywhere else, they believe CA problems are so much worse in the rest of the country.

And in places without 'real' problems (ie. The Woodlands), they don't think problems even exist

liberal crusaders like tex that live in planned communities like the woodlands think their liberal utopian ideas are the perfect fix

everything wrong is just so fixable, just listen to them

CA is full of them

If I was dictator for a day, I would shut them all down.

Communities should decide what their children should learn. Not the state.

Arkansas RINOs are too beholden to big business to do half of that stuff. I'm not sure I see Sarah Sanders doing anything differently.

And we have too many Dems here, anyway. Clinton legacy....

Yea, throwing endless amounts of cash at education hasn’t worked. It’s actually gotten worse

I think we are about to go into an era where a lot of kids will be homeschooled. These students intellectually destroy kids in public schools

Oklahoma hasn't had a single county go blue in a Presidential election since 2000.

What a place.

If nothing else, other states should model their voting apparatus after Oklahoma's. No Dominion machines anywhere and very, very tight chain of custody.

It's essentially recreational here. Talk with the MMJ doctor:

Doc: Naked bootleg, why do you want to use MJ for medicinal purposes?

NB: Well Doc, yes, I have some neck & shoulder pain and MJ helps me to -

Doc: [signing the papers] Helps you sleep does it? Yep! NEXT

Oklahoma as a state has major fiscal problems and infrastructure issues. They also have a crumbling education system.

So just like CA the state you claim to live in?

Sounds great. Are they able to enforce all of that or is it tied up in court with Obama appointed judges?

Meanwhile in Baltimore funding is over $17,000 per student

That is amazing. And the worst part is they are all failing. One kid graduated near the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA.

Now that it has gotten some bad press maybe is will be looked into, but it will just slip back unless there is a change attitude with the higher ups - and the public in general.

My point is we can't keep saying "aw, those are just inter city schools" and ignore them. We - the public - need to realize that public school education has to be a priority.

And it's easy to say all that. But if we don't turn that around, at least incrementally and pretty soon, it will be irretrievable (hoping it's not there already).

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas , Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida.

I am of the opinion that Louisiana is currently governed by an illegitimate usurper. Since he has power, and the RINOs in the state legislature are pretty much all political eunuchs, Louisiana is currently a lost cause.

so your answer is more money?

the problem isnt money, its people that have kids that dont give a shite about them and the kids are left to sink or swim on their own. money isnt going to fix that

you still havent answered my question, if you hate this board so much why do you post here?
