Ruger single six convertible is the only answer there is IMO. You can shoot everything from ratshot to .22 magnum.
Or if you just want .22 lr, a ruger wrangler is like $200 and will also shoot any .22 lr ammo reliably and accurately.
Semi auto .22's are pretty unreliable without the right ammo. They're fun, just not very reliable.
