Maybe it's just me but too many gators out there now. I assume it's the farms putting hunters out of business? I don't know much about it but see tons out of St Bernard.

I agree there are way too many gators. They are over populated in south La. for sure. But it’s not because farms are putting trappers out of business IMO. It’s that our conservation program has worked too well. I don’t think we’ve adjusted our harvest efforts not accommodate market changes (for skins). We’ve just been too successful at breeding and maintaining a healthy gator population and now we have way too many of them.
