Dude we got fiber running on the ocean floor all over the globe. Don't be telling me we can't bury a few hundred miles of power lines 20 feet deep in Louisiana mud.

Entergy has ZERO incentive to do this. That's the difference between the internet and a power company.

You can't do it and still have a light bill less than $1000 a month. The math isn't there.

Doing it to old infrastructure is one thing. You can’t doing it to 500KV lines though. You have limitations. You have high costs. And when a big wind storm comes through, you have an issue with materials. There aren’t 2,000 transformers and 14,000 miles of lines just laying around a warehouse somewhere.

Idk where this “if possible” thing came from. I’ve seen a 340kV line run through a lake.
