We should play them every year on Thanksgiving week since we don't have a true "rivalry" game that week. Looking back at past years it looks like we played them towards the end of the season almost every year. Also, I am sure TAMU will start playing Texas that week once they join the SEC.

ETA: Friday night game would be great since there are no other SEC games that day.

There is absolutely zero reasons to play tulane. In the past 25+ yrs, they have never sold their allotment of tickets to games in Tiger Stadium.. Note that there are no tulane ranters here clamoring to play LSU.They have no interest in playing LSU. Every chance their athletic dept. has had a chance to screw LSU for various games in N.O. they jump at it, using LSU money to subsidize their athletic dept. They have also demanded that any series be home & home: their pretty little stadium in Up Town N.O. sits mabe 50K. LSU usually clears a million plus for home games. Do the math. And the main reason there are no SEC games on Friday nites is a gentleman's agreement not to have area high schools go up against college football.
