Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes and welcome to the week 2/game 2 thread.
Last week took a lot of people by surprise as the Saints went out and absolutely throttled the Green Bay Packers from start to finish in 1 of the few 'neutral site' games you'll see.
Unfortunately, it came at a price as several key players went down with injuries heading into this week's match-up with Sam Darnold, Christian McCaffrey, and the Carolina Panthers.
McCaffrey has always been a thorne in the side, and Darnold has to be feeling good after getting some revenge on the Jets team that sent him on his way. Can a Saints defense, missing a couple key pieces, keep the Panthers in check to make it to 2-0?
TURN DARNOLD BACK INTO NEW YORK DARNOLD AND LET'S MOVE TO 2-0!!

Saints 1-0
Buccaneers 1-0
Panthers 1-0
Falcons 0-1
Betting Lines: Saints (-3) O/U 44.5

Wish I was as confident in this one as you guys. Injuries and Covid stuff has me worried.
Hopefully it’s unfounded and it’s a massacre.

Mike Hoss has video on his FB of Juwan Johnson's warm-up ritual... which includes juggling three balls while walking up and down the field barefoot

Injuries certainly suck but effectively developing young players shines in these moments. I expect alot of energy on the defensive side of the ball today.

Holy shite. Along with Kwon and Davenport being out we are fricked.
McCaffery is going to run wild.

Saints are 1-3 in game 2 the last 4 years. The only win was a 21-18 win over browns in 2018. All the losses were by double digits. Could be completely flukish, but I find it notable for a team that's been really good the last 4 years.
We lost game 2 a bunch in the years before 2017, but we sucked then
