I mean the threads are out there. Some hit, Some miss, all are as forgotten as sandcastles on the beach in time, but they were built nonetheless.

What I am missing, with so much of my work, is either a visual component (for the poetry and stories) or the musical accompaniment (for the songs).

Neither are my forte. Or even in my wheelhouse. I can tell someone who can what I want, but I’ve yet to find someone to follow through to fruition. Many starts, no finishes. It’s frustrating because the writing to me is…well, it’s like the shavings to my woodworker buddy, natural. But putting together art and music is work, and takes time. And life gets in the way and people get busy and other things take precedence and it goes on the pile.

I’ve got hundreds of pieces, maybe thousands by now. And I have a want to see them be more than forgotten scraps in a box. I’m just missing pieces of the puzzles.
