How is this a bad thing?
When I lived in rural GA, we didn't have trash service. Brought it to the dumps ourselves. Really wasn't that big of a deal. At least this say people can get rid of trash. I'd rather do that than have it piled up around my house..

Like many people have said, we are charged for this service They are not upholding their end of the bargain.

Yeah, because a handful of people living back in the holler, most of which probably buried or burned their garbage, is equivalent to a major US city in regards to the population and the amount of garbage produced.

You're a fricking idiot if you think people in a urban city that has trash stacked up for 2+weeks have the ability to take their own trash to a transfer station themselves in a Ford Focus then you are as dumber than your college transcript says you are
