I'm also in Sumner County. New neighbors moved in next door last fall from San Diego. They fled CA due to politics and policies and are happy to be here. They proudly fly their American flag too! Heading into Nashville (while only 30 min away) is starting to feel like a whole different place -- people wearing masks outside around no one.

My cousin and his wife called me the other day. They have been in Silicon Valley forever and work in tech. They confided that they are closet republicans and talking to them it is clear they are red-pilled. They are getting to the breaking point and are looking to buy property in TN. No one else in our extended family knows their politics -- my uncle will not be pleased. Before their call, I was the only conservative that I knew of on that side of the family.

This isn't the californians though downtown, its the hipster southern progressives that wanted to live somewhere in the south more edgy than Atlanta.

Sumner Co here, too. Been working from home since March 2020 and closest I've gone to Nashville is driving though it to go to CAD's

Doesn't sound like I'm missing much
