Agree. If you know you didn’t kill her you should help find her. At first there may have been a good chance she was alive. No reason to stay silent.

I have no doubt she’s dead. And that’s most likely why the silence.
But you also have to consider this angle. If he didn’t do anything and thought she was alive, then was at the tip of the manhunt spear, and she turned up having been killed by someone else, now all your statements and actions from the start of the S&R to now become privy to scrutinization. Even if he thought she were alive, maybe the best legal option is privately tell police what you know, then let them run the S&R while you stay out of it.
It’s heartless, I know, but in the long run for him, maybe the best option.
My opinion, she’s dead, he killed her, he lawyered up and is staying silent as now the burden of proof is on them.
