Fickell has never coached outside of Ohio. The only evidence that he's even been outside of Ohio for more than 24 hours at a time is when he very briefly played for the Saints. Just seems like a strange fit- not the kind of hire you fire your coach in week 2 for imo

I'm not entirely convinced he takes the USC job if it's offered to him because of this.
