If you simply accept the fact (fact, not opinion) that the vast majority of the individuals in Hollywood are simply terrible human beings, it makes complete sense.

Everyone acted shocked with the me too movement, but they all knew about everything going on.

The majority of them are either directly aware of the child abuse in Hollywood or they have heard about it throughout their work.

The only place as depraved as and as insulated as Hollywood is Washington DC.

Honestly, I was surprised that people were surprised about the Harvey Weinstein allegations. Years before I heard the rumors not online but through casual conversations multiple times about Harvey Weinstein sexually abusing Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth was born Hollywood Royalty, and even she didn’t get past Harvey. So when this was reported by Ronan Farrow and everyone was shocked, here was my reaction:
