Looking back at the last few years, It takes CDA and the Defense a few games to get rolling. They looked mid season form yesterday. Very fast, physical play. The physicality of the DBs got called a few times but I’ll give up those calls to get incompletions and hits on the QB. Rogers looked exhausted from running and being pounded all game. Kwon is 100% the difference of this D being Good or this D being Great.

I was talking with a friend before the game and I said I had complete confidence that the D would be good this year, but I just wasn't sure about the Offense.
When have we ever said that? The 80s and early 90s?

Agreed, but we have some great staff around Payton for sure. Nielson has got this DL on fire. This staff works well together. I'm really curious about Richard and how he works the CBs. Definitely think he's a solid addition for DBs.
