I do, as long as their philosophy is similar to mine. The same goes for anyone of any other race that share my outlook and view of how the world should be. All the rest can ESAD.

You're on a chat connected to LSU football - many are black college athletes. Would you prefer LSU to be a fully white team if they are so incompatible?
the one thing you do say that I agree with (but not for the reasons you cite) is that we should indeed see 'race' - as one component of an individual's identity. It's a way to humanize them, that you see their race, culture, background as part of who they are- not the only thing of course- but to say you don't see race is indeed a copout.
But your post does indicate you are troubled by and fearful that our country is becoming more diverse. As you can most likely tell, I don't share that view- I see it a source of our country's strength -- where i live we have 40% Latinx, 40% white, and 20% interracial, black etc. For the most part everyone gets along and benefits from diversity of culture, food, beleifs, etc.-- see how many great businesses have been started by first generation American immigrants. Sure, it can be disruptive and I get the trepidation - but it's not the boogeyman i think you feel it is.
