I fear I wouldn't be accepted.
I saw my doctor last week for a regular checkup. I brought up a concern I had. He checked it out and said I was fine and that I shouldn't worry about that anymore because the concern I brought up was, and I quote: "a young man's disease".

I had a similar experience at the eye doctor. She said that the good news was that it’s just normal for people at my age to start needing glasses. My age?
I was appalled.
