A lot of low-rent teams are capable of running up-tempo offensive series, but not LSU?

In 2019 our approach was so multiple. We would go hurry up once series, huddle the next, check with me the next...the defense had no idea what was happening and was gassed. Our offense in 2019 was great due to Burrow and Brady, but they also controlled the tempo. Defenses couldn't take a breath before we scoring another touchdown (see Oklahoma). Now we break out of every huddle then do check with me until theirs 1 second left on the play clock every damn play. No element of surprise, and the defense has already made all their calls, adjustments, got a good 10-second rest, and are just waiting on the ball to be snapped.

O wants to imidate 2019's offense but is leaving out a huge ingredient.

I really do not understand why we were letting the play clock get all the way down to ~3sec every play. It made everything seem rushed and took us out of rhythm.
