Some of it is on Daronte Jones, yes, but not all of it. Players looked soft and not giving full effort. Hell, you can at least wrap someone up and tackle.

That's what spring/fall practice is for. Season is for playing games like you practiced.
Standing straight up, missing gaps, being in the wrong positions, not being able to read offense, not being able to set the edge, poor tackling. . . these are all things that usually take some time to fix, as they relate to technique and poor coaching. So how does the poor coaching get fixed by the group of coaches responsible for it??

as you said that was not the case
we were in wrong sets, lined up wrong, wrong reads, etc.
this is not fixable overnight. if they did not know all this all offseason we are probably in a bind. see last year.

If you don't have anyone that can tackle or even wants to tackle other than the internal DL, its not really fixable. Stevens was the last person to really tackle, he's gone.
Unless the have some type of open tryouts for LB and S with the new incoming freshmen, I don't see a real fix.
Its about hiding at this point.
