Damn. I’m sorry to hear that. What’s the reason? Frustration? Just hating that the temptation is there, or the urge?

The reason is I remember the good times and I like the stuff. But I dig deeper in the memories and pull out the truth which is that it would be fun once, twice, maybe the first ten times, but I’m a destructive motherfricker after a point, and I’d burn this whole thing (my marriage and my family and probably eventually my career) down likely within a year. It would take less than that but we have a good thing going and she’d stick around longer than she should trying to help.
