Will Coach O be fired BEFORE the end of the season?

If we're 6-6 or worse?

Barring a complete meltdown (on or off the field), I don't think he's fired until after Thanksgiving.

hopefully- this team is an embarrassment.

Likely not, but not impossible.
Do not discount the fact that if Scott Woodward ever opens up and shares his true inner feelings in private to his wife or a trusted confidant, he is saying:
“I’m just looking for an excuse to fire his dumb arse.”

He’ll get some grace after winning the next two…which he shouldn’t.
The tale of the tape will be msu/Aub/Kentucky
I’m guessing 1-2 record vs SEC
If those 2 losses look UCLA or 2020 Aub…he’s fired after Kentucky.
Or he’s removed after OM/Bama
I don’t see LSU keeping it remotely close to either.

I think he is done unless he gets 9 wins and cleans up the outside shite. And I mean 9 regular season wins to. Not this 8 wins and a bowl win.
A 6-6 trajectory means we go 3-5 in the SEC which means we would potentially have 2 or 3 SEC losses before we play Bama.
In this scenario I think he gets fired the day after we lose to Ole Miss in Oxford so interim can have 2 weeks to salvage anything from the Bama game or the season. Not losing by 30 points to Bama would be a success in this scenario

i cannot see us doing better than 8-5 after a bowl game. coudl easily be 6-7. 7-6. i think he is gone after the season ends.

Ensminger makes the most sense.

I think Saban will keep the foot on the gas and embarrass O....again.

Imo, if you wait to fire him say in January 2022 then he already has a foothold in leveraging recruits so he has power again at the table. It becomes harder from an opportunity cost perspective if you wait till the end of the season. Just rip off the band aid after a 3&4 start and lock down the new guy. Will make the Bama beatdown a non-starter in 5 star recruiting battle because we are transitioning. Hey Mr. Woodward, like Starksky & Hutch said, "Do it. Do it."

he is an analyst. not a official coach. not in the 10 listed assistants.
he ain't taking that shite anyway if they could bump him up to a coach position.

top 10 coach? holy shite!
i will cut him (rosenblatt poster) some slack tho.
i hated the O hire for reasons we are seeing now,
but we all want LSU to win so we supported him.
i hoped he would win multiple nattys before he crashed and burned.
thankfully he won 1. i will gladly take it
now it is time to move on. writing is on the wall.

I assume he could be promoted, and what makes you think he wouldnt take it? I think it would be a nice way to send him off and recognize his contributions to this program. He's a guy I think players would rally behind, but without the expectation that he is being considered for the next HC.
If you make a guy like Corey Raymond the interim then you risk an Orgeron 2016 situation all over again.
