re: Possible torn labrum in shoulder

Torn labrum from catching myself while being tackled playing football. Dr told me with surgery I would have limitations with overhead exercises, but proper rehab I may be able to avoid those limitations. I went rehab route and while I don’t have any limitations most of the time, I do have the occasional dislocation that causes restrictions for about 1-2 weeks (duration depends on how long it takes for me to reset my shoulder). It has been about 20 years since the injury, and still no regrets going rehab route

I should note that I do not do heavy lifts, so that was not a factor in my decision making.
