LSU needs to hire a coach that has sustained success year in and year out. I’m not even talking about Saban level because he’s a once in a generation top tier coach. 2019 was who we thought Orgeron was…a good recruiter who relies on top notch coordinators for game prep and management. Without that formula, you get what we saw last night.

When Saban was hired, he was just another young coaching face, not a top tier. Don’t forget. Also don’t forget Dinardo’s LSU beat Saban’s Michigan State in the Independence Bowl.

Right. When you rely so heavily on your coordinators you can't hire people with the experience of Jake Peevy and whoever our DC is.

You hire Bill O'Brian and Freeman. Freeman is at ND because they offered him a HCIW clause in his contract. Orgeron would never allow that to be offered here.
