I disagree entirely. Someone who gets impregnated by a rapist should not be forced to give birth.

If we all just followed the rules given to us by God we wouldn't have any of these problems.

What's the Easiest Way to Explain TX Abortion Law?

The first step is to understand that the abortion issue surrounding Roe vs Wade is not a law nor is it a constitutional right in any way shape or form, never has been. It’s a Supreme Court ruling, the Supreme Court does not make laws in this country per the US constitution.

In a nutshell Texas constitutionally passed a law to correct that misconception.

Pretty simple and really should end any argument in its tracks

Incest families do not care. Rape is usually up the arse anyway.

Well that's at the heart of the problem. If they had kept the meat out of it they wouldn't need the abortion.

I draw the line here.

This is a significant moral matter, and can only be solved between that person and God.

Guiding my own pragmatism:
RAPE
- a woman doesn't discover that she was 'raped' six months after the fact - SO - if she reports the rape immediately, then she should certainly be allowed to rectify some of the ongoing effects from that trauma. Certainly if it is reported immediately - then a simple protocol for belatedly 'putting on a condom' does not trigger my opposition.
But IF she waits three months - and only after the sperm donor decides she is no longer as pretty with that big tummy - then hell no. She wasn't 'raped to begin with and should be charged with filing a false report. Furthermore, I'd suggest that the child be put up for adoption asap after birth.

INCEST
- a truly horrible situation - and I withdraw from any position of judgement.
- I favor allowing the victim to correct the outrage to the best of her ability. == all depending on a multiplicity of circumstantial situations that cannot ever be pre-ordained by anyone.

Default position in all cases = protect life.

This is a tough call.

On the one hand, how can you justify ending a human life, and on the other, how can you condemn a woman who got pregnant through no fault of her own and chooses not to carry the baby.

Rape and incest is less than 1% of pregnancies….stop bringing this shite up fricking morons.

Notify authorities if the above takes place…don’t understand what’s so hard about this???

But go ahead and use it as a reason as to why everyone should be able to chop up babies

The law basically says that if the baby has a heart beat, it’s illegal to purposefully stop the heartbeat through abortion if the life of the mother isn’t in critical danger.

In regards to rape and incest: those are emotional issues but aren’t rational reasons for killing children. Either it is wrong to kill unborn children outside of medical necessity or it isn’t.
