Office Productivity.
What would you suggest. Seems most have mixed reviews.

Have you ever used an UW? Over multiple monitors? I have a 34" and its beneficial for some things but 2 or 3 monitors have their benefit also.

Would rather have two 27" monitors than one 49". Hell, I'd rather have three 24" monitors more than two 27".

I'd leave the 49" ultrawides for sim racing and flight sim use. They aren't great for productivity due to their short height. You're better off getting a couple of 32" monitors.
I'm using a 34" ultrawide as my main monitor with a 27" vertical monitor for my code editor/slack.

Here's my setup:
(1) 23" monitor turned vertical for email
(2) 27" monitors stacked on top of each other
(1) 42" monitor for looking at drawings
I'm not sure what you plan on using it for, but there are other folks that I work with that use ultra-wide monitors. We have a spreadsheet that has lots of columns and can get fairly wide, so it does work well for that.

I use a Samsung 49 inch. my PC is connected to a docking station and I have 2 of the video ports connecting to the docking station so the monitor simulated 2 27 inch monitors. I have the 3rd video port connected to my PS5 and it does Picture in Picture so I could have half the monitor on my PS5 and the other half on one of the 2 simulated docking station monitors I have set up.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Currently using 2 older 32" side by side.
