Americans are soft these days. Everyone used to shower and shite around each other like it was nothing prior to the 90s. I went to 3 High Schools and only 1 had reasonable showers for gym/ athletes. We showered around each other and yes in the beginning it sucks but after a week its nothing and by the end of the year its perfectly normal.
My dad still tells the story about how his football locker room only had 2 shitters and they were in the middle of the locker room with no walls. Now that's owning it.

Our football field house has one big room with showers so we all showered together and 2 toilets with a divider on the side but no door and when you shite you faced the shower so everyone in the shower would see you shite.
You get used to it. It only sucked for people with tiny dicks who got laughed at and thankfully I was normal sized

We had a bathroom in the fraternity house that had 2 showers with no stall or partition across from 3 toilets with no stalls or partitions. Showering before class with someone hungover on the shitter 5 feet away was always a great start to the day.
Visiting locker room facilities for high school football games were always an experience as well

Played an away game in high school with a locker room like that lol. And that was in 2005
