The police chief did a phone interview with TWC right before the eyewall got to them. He said about 15 residents came banging on the door when it got rough to ride it out with the first responders that were sheltering there. He didn’t say how many first responders he had with him.

WWLTV showing a couple of utility poles completely snapped near the base on 5th street near Carrollton uptown already.
