Why are any invited? They’re grown men playing a game. They already get paid millions. They don’t deserve any more honors. It’s just another incestuous celebrity event.
It’s an unserious tradition for an unserious nation. National teams and true amateurs are the only athletes that should even be considered for a White House invitation.
