Is anyone getting this? Looks fun, but don't think any of my friends would get it and I guess I wouldn't really be excited to play it with random people every time..

I may hold out for World War Z: Aftermath on Steam coming September 21. Think that can be played completely solo if need be.

I've read through or watched about 10 reviews and all except Karack with ACG are saying its decent. Its not a bug filled shite show like Colonial Marines but it may not keep you interested for very long. It not really comparable to Isolation. I'll tell you whats a great Aliens game...Aliens Infestation on DS

First impressions are not so good. I can't get into matchmaking at all. Played a bit of single player and its pretty boring playing with bots. The sound design is terrible. I can't tell if an alien is on my arse or 25 feet away. And the NPC voices, especially from Herrera are so feakin loud. The guns sound ok. The shooting and player movements feel decent. I think playing with others with some higher difficulties still maybe fun.

Haven't had much time to go deep into it yet, but my early impression screams "rush job". It's not bad, but the attention to detail with the little things is a bit of a letdown. I'll play more tonight and see if things change, but right now I'm wishing more than ever we got an Isolation sequel instead of this...

It looks generic. Xenomorphs just pop out of the ceiling in front of you and are not scary at all.

Yeah glad I held off to read peoples opinions. Just doesn’t look worth $40. Might get it when it drops to $10 in next Summer sale.

I am getting the itch to play this game because I simply have nothing to play right now. I just fire up OW when I want to play a game, and that gets old. Waiting for Diablo II. This looks good enough to mess around with for a few weeks... at $40 is that such a bad thing?

I just can't believe in 2021 that a cooperative horde-type shooter like this doesn't have voice chat, or even TEXT chat on PC. While the console versions DO have voice chat.

Right now the most glaring problem is still matchmaking. They need to get a quick match option asap. If you are on Playstation or PC you may have better luck finding matches than Xbox

It's sad that everything is just a seemingly big disappointment.. this, the B4B beta, and I don't even care about WWZ Aftermath anymore that will probably suck too (never played the original release on Epic).

Sounds like a better experience on Xbox than PC, which doesn’t even have text or voice chat. Losing players by the day... seems like a game to have bought Day 1 to get the maximum experience.
