This specific statement is true. That said, all covid mask mandates are ineffective and pointless.

Correct. So I am not going to way into the Mask debate. On the other hand, I think the Anti-vax crowd is going to loose on Constitutional grounds once the vaccine is Fully approved by the FDA. The US 7th Circuit ruled in favor of Indiana University and its vaccine mandate against students who filed a class action case. The 3 Judges were in fact all strict Judicial Conservatives who interpreted statutes and prior case law literally (1 Reagan appointee and 2 Trump). In fact, the case cited a 1905 case where Massachusetts won against MA residents regarding the Small pox vaccine. Judge Barrett who oversees the 7th circuit rejected on her own the appeal on behalf of the students for the Supreme Court to hear the case. But the vaccine thing will play out in the Courts over the next few months.

But regarding what indefatigable said regarding JBE's statement being true, he is correct.

The 1st amendment guarantees the right to freedom of speech. That is a fundamental right for all Americans. However, the US Supreme Court has numerous rulings of what is not part of the fundamental right to Freedom of speech. It is not absolute
