We got youtube tv to split with my parents since we had used their directv login for sports forever. So far we haven't watched it at all, but my parents seem to like it fine.

I'm with the don't watch tv response, other than LSU football games.

Look into FuboTV before you make a decision. That’s what we decided on.

You can also try them for a month and then try YTTV for a month and then decide. No contracts.

I just got rid of Spectrum. I was paying 186 a month for internet and cable. Then fiber was installed in my neighborhood and I have 600 up and down speeds. I called Spectrum and told them to drop the internet. I was expecting about a 50% reduction in cost. The lady at Spectrum told me that because I was bundling internet and cable and if I get rid of internet and just have cable the cost is going to be 181 a month.

I was thinking, frick that, and I told her to cancel them both and then I signed up for YouTube TV. It's fine. I don't watch TV much but will be watching more as college football starts.

Yes. When you go to their site you put in your zip code and they show you all the local channels you will get

You can also use locast.org to get free local OTA channels via streaming.
