-Talks about the upcoming season. High expectations and they expect a lot out of this class.

-Moving back to defense from QB and feels like he's going to improve and show grit. Biggest job is to help teammates.

-Going to make a decision until signing day so he can focus on the team and focus on the ring.

-LSU and A&M are the top two. LSU all love all over even since the decommitment. A&M great program and Jimbo and his success as a coach.

Compare that to his December 2020 interview

What's he going to say they suck? Let him enjoy the process and milk them for as much money as he can before he goes back to LSU with a nice NIL deal.

I just don’t see the draw of Texas A&M for a high school kid… everything is so ‘meh’ about that university

He's going to enjoy some visits but it's really hard to not see him come back on board based on what most are saying. He'll build up some drama probably and pick us on December's NSD.

Had to get that little negative poke in there didn't you.
Where's the DV total at now? More than 2,000 I bet. Do you like the Bama logo on their field or should they change it because you say it's tacky like the Eye of the Tiger?

He has to keep the Bama visit to stay a 5 star. Not joking

Yeah he went into depth about Texas AtM how it’s hard to get away from the success they had on defense and how their defense coordinator uses his safeties like Jamie Bates and derwin James. Said it’s all love with LSU and the talks are the same.

I honestly believe if we can show how good this defense can potentially be this year we got him for sure. This upcoming season will be so important with recruiting

Interesting that he won't be playing QB. Is that because of wanting to allow him to develop his game individually and/or does Ponchatoula just have a good replacement at QB?

Elko should be in line for a head coaching job very soon.

Ponchatoula does in fact have a great team this year. They should be in contention for a State Championship this year.

They started slow, but looked great against Rummel yesterday. Quality team this year with a legendary coach.

A&M great program

Dear Jacoby,

Texas A&M is by any measure, NOT "a great program". In your lifetime (and longer) they have had exactly ONE double digit win season and LSU waxed them that year. They are an under-achieving MEDIOCRE program with a really, really strange vanilla fanbase that is the opposite of everything you love about the people of South Louisiana. In addition, if you look at defensive backs in the NFL, you might notice that Aggie ain't exactly in the headlines for getting paid. Meanwhile LSU guys are setting paycheck records. If you measure "great" by ten win seasons, to equal what LSU has done just in your lifetime Jacoby, A&M would have to go back to the 1930's lol. Not a "great" program. Choose wisely. It's a lifetime decision.
